Relationship Executive

NMK Electronics, a leading group of AV distributors in the Middle East is growing and looking for an experienced Relationship Executive. NMK Electronics has recently joined a global Group which is listed on the FTSE AIM 100 market in the UK and so this represents a very exciting time to join us. The ideal candidate should be an experienced industry professional, with a proven background. The candidate will look to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and build long term relationships with a willingness to travel regularly in order to work directly with clients in their own environment is a priority.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage online selling portals /accounts by updating new products, inquiries, stock levels, and marketing requirements for the designated portals.
  • Drive all Product sales activity within the UAE through Resellers, end-users, and key retail customers. Focus on NMK brands.
  • Develop relationships in order to promote different product segments
  • Support the in-line manager with the recruitment of new sales networks in the Middle East.
  • Work with resellers to develop the market - this would include market segments, visits to support the resellers, training, promotion, market research, payment terms, credit terms.
  • Annually submit and implement a detailed business plan identifying: sales objectives, sales opportunities, and major customers for the following fiscal year.
  • Participate in sales activities including customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations, and customer seminars.
  • Negotiation to win orders with the most beneficial commercial and financial terms.
  • Responsible for the development and analysis of market information for strategic planning purposes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information on CRM/ERP system.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to develop a strong reference portfolio.
  • Quarterly submit and implement a detailed business plan identifying: sales objectives, sales opportunities, and major customers for the following fiscal year.
  • Collect and report information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory.
  • Create demand for brands/products and demonstrate to clients.
  • Be active in the local and regional market to support customers that may need after-sales service support or have technical queries.

Education, Experience and Key Competencies

  • Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Basic electrical and lighting knowledge
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in one of the following disciplines lighting or video
  • Highly motivated and target driven individual with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Good verbal and written communication
